Rheems Barn Fire
 
July 30th
14:50 hours Co#2 was dispatched for a working Barn fire on the 1300 block of Campus Road. Tanker 2 under command of Firefighter Brandon Sell arrived on scene and stage on Campus Road. Tanker 2 was then released by Command 7-11. With no water used Tanker 2 returned to quarters at 16:03 hours.

MVA In First Due
 
July 28th
11:15 hours Co#2 was dispatched for a motor vehicle accident with injuries at 184 Palmyra Road. Chief 2 arrived on scene to find two vehicles in the roadway with negative injuries. Chief 2 set up Palmyra Road Command and held the Box to Rescue 2 Non - Emergency. Rescue 2 a.o.s and cleaned up debris and put down dryall. Fire Police handled traffic control. Box in service at 11:59 Hours.

Future Fire Fighter
July 16th
Today Co#2 had a future fire fighter visit the station. Chief 2 showed the young man the station and all equipment. At the end of the tour Chief 2 handled out a Fire Prevention bag and plastic helmet.

Possible Job in Palmyra
 
July 12th
17:27 hours Co#2 dispatched for to assist Co#1 (Palmyra) with a possible structure fire at 982 East Pine Street Palmyra. Engine 2 arrived on scene under command of Chief 2 (Bill Jurell) and assisted with an interior investigation. Chief 2 had interior command. Crews investigated to find the house had an overload of electric and the meter base started on fire. The homeowner turned off the breaker prior to fire department arrival. Chief 2 gave a Met-ed # to Command 1. Command 1 then released Company 2 units which were back in quarters at 18:03 hours.

Vehicle Accident In First Due
 
July 5th
23:20 hours Co#2 was dispatched for Rescue 2 to assist Co#3 (Lawn) with an accident with roll over at the intersection of Mount Wilson Road & Cut Off Road. Rescue 2 came upon the accident at South Forge Road, just North of East Patrick Road in Hunters Bottom. Chief 2 took South Forge Command. Crews found the driver out of the vehicle and assisted ems with patient care. Crews also dc' d the battery and performed spill control. Fire Police handled traffic control. Attack 3 set up lighting and Rescue 38 assisted Rescue 2's crew. Box was placed in service at 00:12 hours.

Smoke inside the Hill
July 4th
09:12 hours Co#2 was dispatched for smoke in a structure at 2868 Horseshoe Pike (Turkey hill). Chief 2 arrived on scene to find everyone out of the building, Chief 2 set up Horseshoe Pike command. Chief 2 went into investigate and found a light smoke condition with a odor of wires burning with 2 lights out above the counter. Engine 2 arrived on scene with crews going interior to check out the ceiling were the lights were out and to check the breaker panel. A breaker was tripped and the ceiling checked out ok. We opened up the front doors to remove the smoke and odor. Crews removed the light fixtures and they find the light ballast to be burnt out and black. Maintenance was notified. Horseshoe Pike Command placed the Box in service at 09:45 hours

Crash in front of A&M Pizza
 
July 3rd
16:37 hours Co#2 was dispatched for an MVA with injuries in front of A&M Pizza on Horseshoe Pike. Chief 2 arrived on scene to find a 2 vehicle accident both vehicles in the A&M parking lot with both drivers out. Rescue 2 responded Non - Emergency and arrived on scene and assisted ems along with cleaning up debris. Chief 2 placed the Box in service at 16:58 hours. Chief 2 had Horseshoe Pike Command.
