What is A Knox Box you ask?
The KNOX-BOX® Rapid Entry System provides non-destructive emergency access to commercial and residential property. Each KNOX-BOX® purchased by the property owner is keyed to a single master key controlled by your department. With the Knox System, there is no cost to the fire department, no waiting for a property owner to unlock the door in the middle of the night, and no forcing the door open to gain entry. The master key box will be located inside of the emergency equipment, which will be accessed only when activated by tone alert through the Lebanon County Control Dispatch Center. The Knox Rapid Entry System reduces response time, property damage and the liability for lost keys.
Allowing faster access for Fire, EMS and Police will help to minimize any damages that could be caused by broken windows, forced doors etc. If you have an interest in this program please contact us at 717-838-3707 and leave a message for our Chief he will gladly assist you and answer any questions you may have. We look forward to working with you on this program for the security of your location.
