Chicken BBQ
 
March 31st
Today crews were out at the firehouse kicking off the 2007 chicken bbq fund raiser. While crews were busy cooking and selling chickens a special bulldog spent the day with the new tanker. Thank to everyone once again for your hard work and dedication to the Campbelltown Fire Company. To see when the next chicken bbq will be click on the events link at the top of the page.

Tanker 2 In Service
 
March 27th
This Morning members were excited to hear Tanker 2 placed into Service. The new tanker will serve as Tanker 2 and the old one is now Tanker 2-1. As many of you know it was feared this day would never come. But thanks to everyone involved with your commitment and dedication to Campbelltown Fire Company you have made it possible.

Basket Bingo
 
March 22nd
Today 188 people were out at the firehouse for basket bingo. Everyone had a great time at trying their best to win. A very special thanks to everyone who made this such a great success.

Vehicle Accident
 
March 22nd
07:18 hours Co#2 was dispatched for a accident with injuries at South Forge Road & Horseshoe Pike. Chief 2 arrived on scene to find a 2 vehicle accident, both drivers were out of the vehicles. Chief 2 took command. Rescue 2 and Engine 2-1 assisted in patient care, dc'd batteries, put down dryall and cleaned up debris. Fire Police handled traffic control. Co#2 was in out till 07:49 hrs.

Vehicle Accident
 
March 20th
10:40 hours Co#2 was dispatched for a motor vehicle accident with negative injuries. Crews dc'd the batteries, put down dryall and clean up debris. Fire Police handled traffic control. Chief 2 (B Jurell) had Command. Chief 2 placed the Box in service at 11:52 hours.

Spaghetti Dinner
 
March 18th
Today Co#2 held another spaghetti dinner. Thanks to the community for another successful turnout. A special thanks to everyone for your hard work and dedication to made this event possible.

Co#48 Fire
 
March 17th
11:11 hrs This evening Engine 2, Tanker 2 and Rescue2 were dispatched to assist Dauphin County Co#48 with a working Structure fire. Tanker 2 a.o.s and set up porta tank operations along with Engine 2. Rescue 2 a.o.s and staged with crews assisting the Engine crews at the scene. Co#2 units were out till 3:00 a.m. Thanks to Palmyra Fire for the pictures.

9-11 Memorial
 
March 14th
This evening Chief 2 (B Jurell) was stopping by Walmart and noticed a 9-11 memorial Tractor Trailer sitting in the parking lot. Chief 2 made contact with Palmyra Fire Department for the crews to take a look. Chief 2 and members from Palmyra talked to the driver and enjoyed looking over the truck. Flag ceremony
 
March 12th
Today the local Cub Scouts were at the firehouse for their Flag ceremony. Campbelltown Fire Department has helped many cub scouts including the Palmyra Cub Scouts.

Assist to Co#3
 
March 8th
16:14 hrs Engine 2 & Tanker 2 were dispatched to assist Co#3 (Lawn) with a reported landscaping vehicle on fire. Units arrived on scene to find a working Log skidder on fire with electric wires down. The operator was slightly electrocuted and taken to the Hospital. Crews had to wait for Met-Ed to arrive on scene due to live power lines on the skid loader. Crews assisted Attack 3 and used foam on fire. Co#2 was released and returned to quarters at 1901 hours

Assist to Palmyra
 
March 7th
19:16 hrs Co#2 was dispatched to assist Co#1 (Palmyra) with a reported structure fire on Railroad Street. Engine 2 arrived on scene and staged at the hydrant at Railroad & Walnut Street. Manpower to the scene, Chief 2 handled Man power Pool. Cause was a furnace malfunction. Co#2 was released and returned to quarters at 19:37 hours

Co#39 Structure Fire
 
March 6th
10:22 hrs Tanker 2 was dispatched to assist Dauphin County Company #39 (Grantville) with a working structure fire on South Mill Road. Tanker 2 supplied two loads of water then was released by command and returned to quarters at 12:17 hours.

Stove Fire
 
March 5th
17:17 hrs Co#2 was dispatched to 2135 Horseshoe Pike for a reported pellet stove fire. Chief 2 arrived on scene to find a light smoke condition, no fire. Engine 2 crew empty out the stove and set up the PPV fan. Truck 1 (Palmyra) crew assisted in venting out the smoke. Co#2 was back in quarters at 17:47 hours
