Minor Accident
May 31st
Co#2 was dispatched for a accident with injuries at Horseshoe Pike & South Forge Road. Chief 2 arrived on scene and set up Horseshoe Pike Command. Chief 2 met with the drivers of the vehicles who were uninjured. There was no fluids leaking. Chief 2 placed the Box in service at 20:48 hours.
Accident w/Injuries
May 31st
While the Tanker was out on the wild fire Co#2 was dispatched for a accident with injuries at Horseshoe Pike & South Thistledown Drive. Chief 2 arrived on scene and set up Horseshoe Pike Command. Rescue 2 arrived on scene and assisted with patient care, fluid control and DC'd the batteries. Engine 2-1 arrived on scene and assisted Rescue crew. Fire Police handled traffic control. Box in service at 17:28 hours
Co#1 Wild Fire
May 31st
16:44 hours Tanker 2 was dispatched to assist Co#1 (Palmyra) with a working wild fire on Edison Road. Tanker 2 arrived on scene and supplied Engine 1-1 with a 3" supply line. Then the tanker filled Dauphin Engine 48-2 (Hershey) and Wagon 1. Command 1 then released tanker. Tanker was back in quarters at 18:15 hours
Co#1 Memorial Day Parade
May 27th
This morning members loaded up the apparatus for the annual Memorial Parade in Palmyra. Crews had a great time. Thanks to Co#1 (Palmyra) for the invite.
Mulch Fire
May 26th
14:30 hours Co#2 was alerted to 20 West Market St @ the South Londonderry Township Play ground for a Mulch Fire.
Engine 2 under command of Assist 2 arrived on scene to find an area about 10x20 was on fire. Box was held to Engine 2 only. Box in service at 14:52 hours.
Spill Control
May 26th
09:47 hours Co#2 was dispatched for spill control on Horseshoe Pike & Palmyra Road.
Chief 2 arrived on scene and met with the Police Department to find oil on roadway from Palmyra Road to just West of Schoolhouse Road.
Rescue 2 arrived on scene and applied dryall from Just East of Palmyra Road to just West of Schoolhouse Road.
Box in service at 10:13 hours.
Lancaster Transfer

May 23rd
21:20 hours Engine 2 was dispatched to transfer to Lancaster County station 7-4 (Elizabethtown) while crews worked a 4th alarm barn fire in East Donegal Township. Engine 2 was out for 2 hours..

Head on Crash
May 20th
17:05 hours Co#2 was dispatched for an accident reported head on at the entrance way to Palm City Trailer Park. Chief 2 arrived on scene setting up Brandt Road Command with a 2 vehicle accident head on at the entrance to Palm City Trailer Park, all patients were out with 2 injuries. Rescue 2 arrived on scene and assisted the ambulance with patient care and dc'd the batteries. Engine 2-1 arrived on scene and assisted the Rescue crew.
Fire Police handled traffic control. Box was placed in service at 1807 hours
Accident with I
May 20th
15:13 hours Co#2 was dispatched to the intersection of South Forge Rd and Horseshoe Pike for an Mva with injuries. Chief 2 arrived on scene to find a 2 vehicle accident with 3 injuries negative entrapment and took Horseshoe Pike Command. Rescue 2 arrived on scene and did patient care and crews DC'd the batteries and cleaned up debris. Fire Police arrived on scene and handled traffic control.
Chief 2 call County with pole # and then placed the Box in service at
15:59 hours.
Co#1 Entrapment
May 20th
10:06 hours Co#2 was dispatched for Rescue 2 to assist Co#1 (Palmyra) with an mva with entrapment at the intersection of Cherry and Forge. Rescue 2 under command of Chief 2 (B Jurell) arrived on scene and assisted with extrication. Crews did a 3 door swing away and laid down the drivers seat. Crews then assisted in cleaning up debris and fluid control.
Co#2 was back in quarters at 10:54 hours.
New Rescue Update
May
The New Rescue being built at E-One will be off line possibly by June 1st. We will then go to E-One for final inspection on the week of June 8 depending on the status at that time. The Old Rescue is For Sale click on the apparatus link to see more info.
Accident
May 13th
14:12 hours Co#2 was dispatched for an accident with injuries at Horseshoe Pike & Hinkle Road. Deputy 2 (B.Jurell) had Horseshoe Pike Command, Rescue 2 arrived on scene and assisted with patient care and Dc'd the battery's. Engine 2-1 arrived on scene and assisted Rescue 2 crews. Command 2 placed the Box in service at 14:48 hours
Wild Fire
May 12th
15:59 hours Co#2 was dispatched for a wild Fire at 327 Dresher Road. Assist 2 (J Henry) and Engine 2 arrived on scene to find a fire burning in a wooded area, Crews pulled an 1 3/4" hand line and attacked the fire. Attack 3 arrived on scene and assisted the engine crew. Tanker 2 arrived on scene and supplied Attack 3 with a 3' supply line. Dresher Road Command held the Box to Station 2 & 3
Box was placed in service at 16:57 hours
Pto Carnival
May 12th
Today from 10:00 hours to 03:00 hours Crews were out with Co#1 (Palmyra) at Forge Street Elementary School for their annual Pto Carnival. Crews took about 125 kids threw the Fire Safety House and displayed equipment on Rescue 2.
Motorcycle Vs Car
May 11th
16:01 hours Co#2 was dispatched for a accident with entrapment at 5629 Elizabethtown Road involving a motorcycle.
Deputy 3 (J Custer) and Chief 2 (B Jurell) arrived on scene to find a motorcycle and car accident with the rider laying against the motorcycle. Command 3 (D. Braden) had Chief 2 set up a landing Zone for Life Lion in Deputy 3's yard. Rescue 2 arrived on scene and assisted with patient care. Crew then assisted in caring the patient to Life Lion. Rescue 2 crews then cleaned up debris, Command 3 then placed the Box in service at 17:11 hours
Vehicle Vs. Pole
May 9th
14:48 hours Co#2 was dispatched to assist Co#3 (Lawn) with a vehicle accident with a pole down at 2412 South Forge Road. Rescue 2 arrived on scene to find the driver unhurt & the vehicle to have negative fluids leaking. The box was placed in service at 15:26 hours.

From the officers and members of the Campbelltown Vol. Fire Dept., our thoughts and prayers go out to Dauphin Co#37 (Rescue Fire Company) Co#34 (Paxtonia) and Co#32 (Progress) as well as our brothers who operated on the scene and the families of the victims for those who had lost their lives and were injured in a recent vehicle accident.
Vehicle Accident
May 1st
22:20 hours Co#2 was dispatched for a accident with gas leaking from the vehicle at 2257 South Forge Road. Assist 2-1 a.o.s with PD. Assist 2-1 held the Box to 1 piece of appartus. Rescue 2 arrived on scene to find no driver and no gas leak. Crews DC'd the Battery and cleaned up the roadway, Box was placed in service at 23:04 hours.
Vehicle Accident
May 1st
Co#2 was dispatched for an accident at Horseshoe Pike & Palmyra Road, Deputy 2 (B.Jurell) arrived on scene to find that the traffic signal and wires were pulled down with no vehicle around. Deputy 2 called for Station 2 & 1 (Palmyra) Fire Police to assist Police Department with traffic control. Rescue 2 crews cleaned up the remaining parts of the traffic signal, Rescue 2 was released at 2014 hours, Utility 2 and Fire Police remained on scene to 2233 hours. Box was then placed in service.
