I would like to thank you for checking out our Web Site. Here are some of are activities and accomplishment for the year to date.

4 guys will go to Ocala, Florida on November 19, for Pre-Build Conference
We have 1 firefighter taking the new 168 hour essentials class
We had 11 people complete a Pump Operations Class 1 & 11
We had 24 people attend the class Every one goes Home, it was held at Campbelltown
We still didn’t receive our Tanker. New Lexington is no longer in business. We are trying to get our Tanker out of their building. We are working very hard with our Attorneys to get this done ASAP.
Equipment purchased
We put into service 2 new lap tops, 1 in the Chiefs Car and 1 in Engine 2. They have the new GPS mapping system. They were purchased from Iron Compass Map Company.
It is the same system Hershey Volunteer Fire Department is using.
We also purchased a palm pilot with a GPS program to locate hydrants, dry hydrants and ponds.
GREAT NEWS
We received a grant for $225,000.00 to purchase a new Tanker. It will be a 4000 gallon Tanker with a 1500 GPM pump and a 4000 gallon Dump Tank. It will be on a 2006 Mack CT713 chassis.
We received a grant to redo the Engine Bays out front. Repainting and replacing the ceiling towels.
Special thanks to the crew for their on going professional willingness to train and work hard for our community.
