Vote YES to Small Games of Chance
 
November 20th
Fire department members Terry Reigle and Mel Siegrist took the new Rescue 2 to meet with Senator Armstrong to show him first hand why the small games of chance bill needs to be released from committee so that the legislation can pass. Small games of change are a vital source of income for many fire departments such as ours

Vehicle Into a Structure – 50 Palm City Trailer Park
 
November 18th
Multiple units were dispatched to assist Station 2 in S. Annville Twp, 50 Palm City Trailer Park, for a MVA, vehicle into a structure. Chief 2 arrived on scene and quickly reduced the box to Station 2 and 1 units, and had them continue in non-emergency. The chief found that a vehicle had left the roadway and came to rest wedged between a trailer and a metal handicap ramp. There were no injuries. The scene was secured, the vehicle removed and everyone returned to service.

Odor Investigation – 57 Thornton Lane, S. Annville Twp.
 
November 14th
Rescue 2 was dispatched to respond Mutual Aid to South Annville Township, 57 Thornton Lane, to assist with an odor investigation inside of a structure. Rescue 2 arrived on scene and sent its manpower into the scene. After about 20 minutes the scene was under control and Rescue 2 and its crew returned to quarters.

Dispatched for a accident with rollover Lawn Road & Chestnut Hill Road
 
November 14th
03:29 hours Chief 2 arrived on scene to find South Londoderry Police Department on location with a single vehicle into a field, there was no rollover or entrapment. All 3 people were out of the vehicle walking around. Chief 2 set up Lawn Road Command. Rescue 2 arrived on scene, there assignment was to check out the patients and check for fluids leaks. No leaks and no injuries, crew remained on scene until wreck had the vehicle removed from the field, we then repaired the fence and Command placed the Box in service.

Chimney Fire @ 130 Mine Rd., Derry Twp.
 
November 11th
13:45 hours Tanker 2 was dispatched to assist Derry Township, Station #48 on a chimney fire. The tanker arrived on scene and staged along the roadway. Once the incident was complete, Tanker 2 was released and returned to service.

Tractor Trailer Roll Over With Entrapment On Route 934
 
November 10th
05:43 hours Rescue 2 was 3rd due to provided mutual aid to Company #5 for a MVA with double entrapment & roll over involving a tractor trailer. Rescue 2 arrived on scene and assisted Rescue 5 crew in extracting the driver of the tractor trailer. Utility 2 fire police provided traffic control.

Structure Fire 178 Victor Street South Hanover Township
 
November 9th
10:19 hours Tanker 2 arrived on scene and manpower went to scene. Tanker 2 supplied 47-1 with water. Tanker 2-1 hooked up to supply Tanker 39. Rescue 2 arrived on scene and staged on East Canal. Manpower was sent to Truck 46. Crew assisted with pulling down ceiling and minor extinguishment. Crew then assisted with salvage and overhaul. Assistant 2-1 Bill Rhoads had manpower.

Possible Electrical Fire At 37 North Grant Street
 
November 8th
07:28 hours Engine 2 & Rescue 2 were dispatched to assist Company #1 for a possible electrical fire. Command 1 had Engine 2 set up for reverse lay to hydrant at Grant & Main Streets. Crew assisted with investigation of interior. Assistant 2-1 Bill Rhoads had manpower and Rescue 2 staged.

Structure Fire 1276 Mt. Wilson Road
 
November 7th
09:34 hours Rescue 2 & Tanker 2 responded to provide mutual aid to Company #3 for a structure fire. Tanker 2-1 was then called when the incident was upgraded but remained held in quarters. Rescue 2 assisted with checking for extension of second floor as well as salvage & overhaul of kitchen area. Fire fighter Brandon Sell had interior command. Tanker 2 staged in the church parking lot and was released by command without incident.

PHS Girls Field Hockey Wins Districts
 
November 2nd
15:30 hours Rescue 2 and Engine 2-1 paraded PHS girls field hockey team around town in honor of their winning Districts. Congratulations on winning and best of luck moving to state play offs from Campbelltown Volunteer Fire Company.
