Past Apparatus
Our first Pumper, a 1926 Hahn, was purchased on April 12th of that year. It was equipped with various hand tools, 1 ladder, fire extinguishers, 3 sections of hard suction and various feet of two and one half inch hose.
Our second Engine was a 1947 Mack with a 6 cylinder dual ignition Hercules Engine open cab equipped with a 500 GPM Hale pump. The engine was also equipped with (3) 5” hard suction, 100’ 1 ½” attack line, 500’ 2 ½” and 100’ of booster hose. The ladders equipped on this engine consisted of (1) 24ft. and (1) 8ft. attic ladder. Some of the hand tools this piece was equipped with were shovels, rakes, pike poles, and 4 extinguishers (2 water, 2 dry chemical). The engine was in service from 1947 until 1986.
