The Campbelltown Volunteer Fire Company QRS serves as a volunteer Emergency Medical Service providing quick medical care to South Londonderry Township and the surrounding communities.
The QRS program was started after the purchase of a new rescue truck in February of 1976 at the cost of $35,000.00. After the delivery of the updated rescue in February 1977, some of the members took classes in emergency medical care and purchased medical equipment, this was the start of the Campbelltown Life Squad in July of 1977.
Today the Campbelltown QRS operates on a 2003 Ford 4x4 truck. The QRS is manned by trained medical personnel and is stocked with the latest in emergency medical equipment. We continue to protect lives in our community during any type of emergency.
