On New Years Day the Campbelltown Vol. Fire Co. will be having a Pork n Sauerkraut dinner. Time is 11AM - 2PM. Cost is $12.00 for adults, $6.00 for children 6-12, ages 5 and under eat for free. Come out any enjoy a Pennsylvania Dutch tradition. Pork n Sauerkraut on New Years Day brings you Good Luck throughout the year!

Crews responded to 2 calls 12/20/16. The first was assist to Station 1 ,Palmyra, For a small fire with sprinkler activation. Engine 2 with 6 (Chief Sell) responded and staged at the hydrant and sent manpower forward. The second was a carbon monoxide detector sounding. Rescue 2 with 5 (Safety Ed) and Engine 2 with 3 (FF Valentin) checked the structure found no problems but did discover a furnace problem. These were the 44th and 45th calls of the month. Please be safe and carefull out there.
Rescue 2, Engine 2, Wagon 3 and EMS were dispatched to an accident on Farmhouse Lane. Lt 2 , Cambria, held the call to Rescue 2. Crews performed basic vehicle ops and cleaned up a long area of engine oil.
Rescue 2 and Engine 2 were dispatched to an accident with injuries on 322 in South Annville Township. Captain 2, Bardsley arrived to a tractor trailer and 2 cars. One car hit by flying debris. One car with confinement. Rescue 2 did basic vehicle ops and took the drivers door.
Training this evening was at the acquired structure. We practiced pulling walls, ceilings, taking windows and doors. Thanks again to the Mt Gretna Brewing Company for allowing us to use their structures.
Station 2 was alerted to a garage fire on Patrick Road. Wagon 3 arrived with a garage on the ground. Crews protected the house and extinguished the fire. Engine 2 and Tanker 2, Tanker 2-1, Tower 1, Engine and Tanker 38, D Air 48. on scene as well.
The childrens community Christmas Party this year will be Breakfast with Santa Claus, to be held Saturday December 10th from 9AM to Noon. Children can eat pancakes from 9-10 AM. If parents choose to eat the cost will be $3.00. Children can write a letter to Santa and do crafts. Then tell Santa their wish list for Christmas.
On Friday December 9th Santa Claus will make his rounds around Campbelltown. Look for him between 5pm and 9pm depending on your location.
