At 18:53 Engine 2 with 6 (Deputy Br Sell) was dispatched to assist Palmyra (1) at a commercial structure fire. Rescue 2 with 3 (FF B Love) was dispatched at 19:00. Special Unit 2 as Fire Police (Dan Darkes) also responded. Engine 2 arrived and pulled the second line off of Wagon 1 and assisted with extinguishment. Rescue 2 went to manpower. Crews were in service 3 hours and 20 minutes.
Rescue 2 with 3 (Safety Ed) responded to do spill control from a non injury MVA. Special Unit 2 (FP Darkes) was also on scene. Units were out 45 minutes.
Station 2 responded to 517 calls for service in 2020 resulting in 1,984.47 man hours. This does not include training, fund raising, station and grounds maintenance man hours. Top ten responders were:

Rescue 2 with 4 (Chief B Sell) was dispatched to assist station 3 (Lawn) with an accident. While in route another accident came in on South Forge Road. Rescue 2 took that accident and did basic vehicle ops.
Campbelltown Rescue 2 has put into service a 2nd Amkus AMK-22 cutter. This cutter is capable of cutting High Strength Steel, Ultra High Strength Steel, and Boron steel. This will be our 2nd pre-connected AMK-22 cutter to go along with a pre-connected spreader, AMK-30CRT, and a front bumper mounted pre-connected combi tool, AMK-25C. Rescue 2 also carries a Amkus speedway cutter, AMK-21A cutter, small, medium, and large rams, and a portable power unit capable of 2 tool operation. Engine 2 carries a Amkus combi tool, cutter, and a portable power unit.
Training this evening was with Palmyra (1) and Lawn (3). Classroom training on New Vehicle Technology was presented by Safety Ed. Training consisted of problems you may encounter during extrication such as, air bag location and cutting areas, different types of metals used in vehicle manufacturing, hybrids, battery locations, and HID headlights.
