18:00 Crews participated in a Haz-Mat Ops Refresher class. Crews practiced emergency shut off valve operations on a 30,000 gallon liquid propane tank. The Propane tank is located in the first due area of the Company. Annual training keeps the 2Crew proficient and ready for any situation.
19:04 Crews responded to an accident with injuries on March 10th at 19:04 on 2020 Horseshoe Pike. R2 responded with seven and officer Chief Sell, and E2 responded with three with and officer Lt. Douillette. Crews arrived on scene and completed basic vehicle operations and assisted EMS with patient care. Units: R2, E2, Command: Deputy 2
16:12 Crews were dispatched to a dwelling fire on March 9th at 16:12 to 218 School House Rd. E2 responded with four, Chief Sell as officer. Crews advanced a hand line knocking down the fire quickly. T2 with officer FF Douillette, and R2 with officer FF Cambria arrived on scene and sent manpower forward. Crews then did overhaul to ensure there was no additional fire. T2-1 arrived on scene with officer Jr. FF Klinger and staged. The source of the fire appeared to be electrical. Units: E2, R2, T2, T2-1, DUTY2, TW1, W3, T3 Command: Deputy 2
1:07 Crews were dispatched to 186 E Market Street for a dwelling fire/ chimney fire on March 6th at 1:07. Lt. Douillette arrived on scene with nothing showing, and was notified by FF Cassel that the home owner had extinguished the fire in the chimney. E2 arrived on scene with four, and officer of Safety Officer Houser, laid a supply line from the hydrant, pulled a line to the door and investigated inside. R2 arrived on scene with 3 and Asst. Chief Sell as officer. Crews did not find any extension, and TW1 crews cleared out the chimney with chains. Crews monitored the heat of the fireplace until it was with in a safe range, and the box was placed in service. Units: E2, R2, DUTY2, TW1, W3 Command: Lt. Douillette
