Station 2 was dispatched to the second accident of the day, at 19:20, on Bachmanville road. Rescue 2 with 4 (Safety Ed) and Engine 2 with 3 (Firefighter Klinger) responded and found 1 vehicle on it's roof with a small fuel leak. Crews did basic vehicle ops and controlled the leak. Engine 2 pulled the 150 foot bumper line. Wagon 3 arrived at the opposite side and sent manpower forward to assist.
Training this evening was with Lawn (3). We went over stabilization using step chocks, cribbing, rescue struts, and handyman jacks from Rescue 2. We also used sidewinders and auto cribbing from Wagon 3. Sorry, no photos. A special Thank You to South Londonderry Township Manager Jenna Seesholtz for observing our training.
