At about noon Engine 2 with 4 (Safety Ed) was dispatched to investigate a odor of natural gas on Lingle Ave. An odor was found and UGI was notified and handled. Engine was in service about an hour.

2 Tones came in at 5:20 this morning for Rescue 2 with 4 (Deputy Br Sell) to assist Hershey (D48) for smoke in the structure. The crew split with one crew pulling a second hand line from E48. The second crew assisted in checking for extension. Rescue 2 was in service for 1 hour.
Training this evening was 2 part. First was by Officers Firestone and Cassel of the South Londonderry Township Police Department. They went over procedures for serious accidents and working with the Lebanon County Accident Reconstruction Team. After that crew washed the apparatus. Thanks to SLTPD.
At 13:30 Engine 2 with 6 (Safety Ed) was dispatched to assist Station 1 (Palmyra) with an odor investigation. Engine 2 hooked up to the sprinkler and stand pipe systems. Crews went to the 4th floor to investigate and assisted removing residents. A problem was found with the elevator. Crews were in service 2 hours.
At 11:57 Station 2 was dispatched to a structure fire on Woodlawn Drive. Engine 2 with 2 (Safety Ed) responded and Deputy 2 (Brandon Sell) took a 150 foot 1-3/4 hand line to the rear of the structure. The bulk of the fire had been knocked down by a passerby. Rescue 2 with 5 (FF K Douliiette) responded and assisted. Wagon 3 (Lawn) stood by at the hydrant. Tanker 3 and Dauphin Truck 48 (Hershey) also responded. Units were in service 1 hour and 35 minutes.
Training this evening was recertification on Child and Adult First Aid and Qualitative Fit Test for 3M masks. Recertification was completed by 22 members.
At 17:14 Rescue 2 and Engine 2 were dispatched at an accident with injuries. Rescue 2 with 4 (FF Barnes) and Engine 2 with 5 (FF Valentin) arrived to do basic vehicle ops. SU 2 responded as Fire Police.

Training this evening was with Station 3 (Lawn) and Station 1 (Palmyra). crews went over air packs in three scenarios. First was the Confidence Maze, second was Buddy Breathing and RIT, and the third was Search and Rescue using the smoke machine in a trailer. Great practice in S.C.B.A.
